Champions of Democracy

Join RaBIT in celebrating the candidates for Mayor and City Council who have taken RaBIT's Candidate Pledge and are committed to implementing ranked ballots for Toronto's municipal elections in 2022. Over the course of the evening a number of pro-ranked ballot candidates for mayor and city council will make appearances including Sarah Climenhaga, Rob Wolvin, Kalsang Dolma, Carol Royer, Mike Gallay, Kevin Vuong, Richard Forget, and Gautam Nath. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and bid on a wide range of items that will include everything from a dinner party hosted by RaBIT's chairperson, to fermentation and kombucha making lessons, to racing memorabilia autographed by IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe. The event will also include some fun ranked ballot demonstrations as well as complimentary snacks. Beau's Brewing Co. is our exclusive beverage sponsor for the evening and will be providing complimentary refreshments. Thanks Beau's!
More information will be added to this page as we nail down additional elements of the evening's program. All proceeds from the event will support RaBIT's ongoing efforts at bringing improved democracy to Toronto through the adoption of ranked ballots. Tickets are just $25, so get yours now to avoid disappointment!
